Someone had left a box of valentine's day candy on my windshield today...! How random??? i don't know who it was..... but it didn't matter.. it just made me feel good.:) it also inspired me to do the same for others... you just never know... a small random acts of kindness could change someone's day from bad to fantastic in a matter of sec! you should try it out!!
That's very sweet of someone to do that...but sad that the first thought I had was that I hope you don't eat them!!! Who knows what was done to them?!?! It's a sad sign of the times we live in. :-( I do agree, however, that the smallest act of kindness can make a huge difference in a person's day. Great topic!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun thing to find!!! YAY!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the "Buy it Backward" act of kindness, pay for the person's order behind you in the drive through!! How cool would it be to pull up to the window and the person there say that your Latte was paid for already?? Love it!! :)
lol.... i don't even really like the taste of those valentine's day candies, so i'm probably not going to eat them....... lol so i'm safe.. but yes.. the starbucks drive through thing, i def want to try:)
ReplyDeleteI have bought the car behind me lunch before...it's fun, I think. Especially because they aren't expecting it. And to know that maybe it made someone smile...it's rewarding...The first was an older lady who unfortunately only purchased coffee...but i remember the smile on her face when the staff told her it was paid for. And the next one was just a couple of weeks ago....I think it's about time for me to do it again....spread the love!!
ReplyDeleteNikkei and Sherri, I've never heard of "buy it backwards" -- we are obviously miserly creatures here in Nebraska.
ReplyDeleteThat's it. Tomorrow I have to perform some sort of random act of kindness. Great advice, Yoori!!!! Being kind feels good! :)
